I’m finally ALMOST done with my new graphic novel OKSI!

I’ve been working with this book for over five years now (6-7 years? Can’t even remember!) so it feels very strange when all I have to do now is minor corrections and then *gasp* send the whole thing to the printers!

The book has 376 pages, it’s in Finnish BUT it has English subtitles (!)

OKSI will be out for the Helsinki Comics Festivals and is published by Asema kustannus.

I’ve added new designs in my print on demand shops!

Right now I have three active shops: Redbubble, Threadless and Society6.

I recommend to check them all out, since the design layouts might be a bit different in different shops. All the shops have their own set of products.

If you are living in Europe, I recommend Redbubble or Society6, since they do shipping from Europe as well as from USA. Otherwise the shops should be equal quality. Please let me know if you have had problems with the shops or the products. Or if you didn’t have any problems and love your products! Send me some pictures! :)

This is what I’ve been working with this week (and the past five years actually). I’m drawing the final chapter of my graphic novel Oksi, that will come out in Finnish later this year. I still have ALOT to do, but I can see a small hope of finally getting this done and finished.

Sanni & Joonas has been published in the Finnish Koululainen Magazine almost a year now, and it will continue in the year 2018! Here’s a little photo series of making of the comic.

Sanni & Joonas is a children’s comic written by Kalle Hakkola and drawn by me. It includes (for now) two books, strip comics and a comic in the Koululainen-magazine.

BIG NEWS! I’ve opened a little POD (print on demand) shop in Threadless artist shops! I’ve drawn a special little collection called purrrfect that includes cozy cats you can get printed in t-shirts, mugs, tote bags, among other things!

AND THAT’S NOT ALL!  I am planning to open more POD shops in near future, to get as many product possibilities out there as possible, and to launch my big quest of finding the best POD shops in the vast internets. So stay tuned for more designs, more products and more shops!

A couple of images from my forever-project OKSI. Yes, I’m still working with it. But the end is near, the book will be ready 2018 and I’m pretty sure about that.

Sanni & Joonas, a children’s comic written by Kalle Hakkola and drawn by me will be running in the Finnish paper Ilta-Sanomat for the month of August. I loved drawing the strips, but I hate coloring! It takes forever for me to decide on what colors to use. Thank god for deadlines, otherwise I wouldn’t get anything done.

More information about the strips from here (in Finnish): Interview of Kalle Hakkola, tiedote
